You’re worth way more than just a boy. It’s hard to live without someone you have spent so much time with. You are who you are; strong, independent, and determined. You were born with those qualities, a boy didn’t give you that, he just fell in love with them. He inspired you to be a better version of yourself you never thought possible. Even if your relationship doesn’t work out you take what you learned about yourself and carry that with you for the rest of your life. Take time to remember who you were before he changed your life. If you are in a relationship it’s important to remember your self-worth, you can’t solely base your happiness on another person.
You owe yourself the love that you so freely give to other people.
Self love is SO important. When you see yourself clearly, with eyes full of love and acceptance, you hold space for others to meet you there. Sometimes your soul mate is yourself. Sometimes you have to be the love of your life until you discover that type of love in someone else.
Once you accept the love you deserve from yourself, no one will be able to take that away from you. In a relationship you’re supposed to meet the person that will change your life, not your worth. If you allow someone the power to fill you with compliments you have allowed the person to destroy you with their criticism.
“Self love is an ocean and your heart is a vessel. Make it full, and any excess will spill over into the lives of the people you hold dear. But you must come first.” It’s easy to forget about yourself in order to make those around you happy, but make sure the people around you have your best interest in mind. People aren’t meant to be mean, its just lack of self-worth. They haven’t found the fire inside their soul yet, and need a little boosting. Be humble, but be kind, for on your journey come others that may need your guidance.
