September 5, 2015:
Alabama vs. Wisconsin (Arlington, TX)
The Crimson Tide and Badgers will meet in JerryWorld on College Football's opening weekend and look to grab an early statement win. It will most likely turn into an all-out smashmouth affair, as there is much up in the air with both teams losing major playmakers from last year's squads. This game could very well make or break either team's season.
Auburn vs. Louisville (Atlanta, GA)
Not to be outdone, Auburn will face off against Bobby Petrino's Louisville squad in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. The GusChamp Era will officially begin and will look to make a statement on the national stage. Muschamp's defense will be tested by Louisville's potent air attack offense, but look for Auburn's new starting quarterback Jeremy Johnson to try to get the new, more balanced Auburn offense rolling.
September 19, 2015:
Ole Miss vs. Alabama
Alabama will be out for blood after being upset at the hands of the Rebels last year, but exacting that revenge will not be an easy task. The Rebels will have a roster loaded with NFL-ready talent (Robert Nkemdiche, Laremy Tunsil, Laquon Treadwell) and will look to derail the Crimson Tide's season early on.
Auburn vs. LSU
Another big weekend for the State of Alabama, Auburn will receive its biggest road test three weeks in with a trip to Baton Rouge. LSU still has a major question mark at quarterback, but they have overwhelming talent elsewhere on the roster. Leonard Fournette is a bona fide Heisman Trophy candidate, and there is the usual LSU-caliber talent on defense. This will be a defining moment in both teams season with a win for either team serving as a springboard to contention in the West.
October 3, 2015:
Arkansas vs. Tennessee
This game is different from the heavyweight battles the SEC is accustomed to. This game will be the battle of the up-and-comers. Both Arkansas and Tennessee have made major strides, and will look to make the jump from pretender to contender with a win.
October 17, 2015:
Missouri vs. Georgia
Georgia is the odds-on favorite to win the SEC East, a title which they will have to take away from Mizzou. This game looks to serve as a de facto SEC East Separation Saturday, giving the winner a step up in the race to Atlanta
October 31, 2015:
Georgia vs. Florida (Jacksonville, FL)
The 2015 edition of The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will probably be the biggest game of Jim McElwain's premiere season as the Gator head football coach. The Bulldogs will be looking for revenge after laying an egg in Jacksonville last year to a very lackluster Florida team. Georgia will need a win to solidify its chances of making it to Atlanta, as they draw Alabama and Auburn from the West.
Ole Miss vs. Auburn
Another week, another revenge game in the SEC. Ole Miss' season was derailed on one play late in the fourth quarter against Auburn last year when Laquon Treadwell fumbled the ball on the one-yard line as he looked to cross the goal line for the go-ahead score. I'll never forget the silence in that stadium when Treadwell lay on the ground. Both teams are disappointed in how last year ended, but have the talent to make another run at both the SEC and National Championship. This game will serve as a solidifier for either teams playoff hopes.
November 7, 2015:
LSU vs. Alabama
Come on, do I really have to explain this one? Every year, this game proves to be one of the premiere games in the SEC season, taking a backseat to only The Iron Bowl.
November 14, 2015:
Alabama vs. Mississippi State
The Crimson Tide derailed both the Bulldogs Championship hopes and Dak Prescott's Heisman candidacy last year. Yep, another revenge game. Mississippi State will look to build on their most successful season to date, and this game will define the success of this year's squad.
Auburn vs. Georgia
The Tigers, in recent Auburn form, went into Athens last year and left with their tail between their legs after a beating by the Bulldogs. Yet another make-or-break game on the road to Atlanta for both of these playoff-caliber teams.
November 28, 2015 (Rivalry Week):
Alabama vs. Auburn
The Iron Bowl has served as an SEC West Championship game for most of the past decade, and I don't look for that to change this year. Auburn and Alabama both could very well come into this game undefeated and very much in play for a College Football Playoff spot. The most heated rivalry in all of sports will not lose any fervor on 2015.
Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State
The Egg Bowl has taken on a much bigger role in shaping the landscape of college football in the past couple of years. Both teams playing in a New Year's Six bowl game in 2014 has bolstered the intensity of the rivalry, and both teams will look to repeat their success in 2015.
December 5, 2105:
SEC Championship Game (Atlanta, GA)
Of course you will have to watch the most important conference game of the year. Seven of the past nine winners of this game have won the National Title, and in the playoff format, the SEC Championship game is basically a play-in game for the CFP.
I look for Auburn and Georgia to rematch in this game, furthering the intensity of the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry.
