If you are a big Tumblr user, chances are you’ve seen Mina Mahmood on your dashboard as baedotdoe.

Born on September 9, 1996, Mina has been using social media to do positive things and spread nothing but good vibes. While by the average eye might assume that Mina is plus sized, they would be surprised to find out in reality, she is not. While she may not be plus sized, she definitely flaunts her curves and encourages females to do the same while emphasizing that your body does not define who you are.

Besides Tumblr, Mina is also well known from her Twitter and Instagram as well. On her twitter, she is constantly tweeting about feminism and once again more body positivity stuff or sometimes you might even catch her having a laugh with her friends Dounia Tazi and Diana Veras. When I first came across her Instagram, the first thing that caught my eye was how confident she was in her body and how she used her Instagram fame to encourage others to do the same.

Dounia Tazi, born on March 31, 1997 is not only her friend, but a rising model as well. If you’ve shopped on Forever21 plus anytime recently you’ve most likely spotted her more than a few times. She originally gained popularity from her Instagram from being an up and coming producer but now she’s famous for her modeling career too.

Together the two are unstoppable and changing the world one day at a time from NYC. The best part about them is although they have gained all this popularity through social media, they never act “better” than any of their followers. Sometimes they even tend to post a few reminders about how just a few years ago, they were no different than those who look up to them and through positive thinking and learning to be comfortable in their own skin, many doors were opened up for them.

The two have been interviewed by Bustle, Refinery 29, and Seventeen. When being interviewed they never fail to mention the body-posi movement. One in a while, either of them will post an old photo of themselves and talk about the difference in how they felt about them versus now. How the things they wished so much to change at a younger age are the ones that they embrace with open arms now. Their friendship is more than a friendship; it is inspiration to young girls everywhere on how the internet can help you to do so much.

Speaking from the perspective of a young women, after following Mina and then eventually Dounia, I begin to look at myself differently. They have inspired me to do so much and to never stop believing in my dreams, even when they seem impossible. They made me realize that just because I do not look like the models in the magazines, does not mean I’m any less beautiful.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
