9 Mauve Lipsticks You Need To Buy

All lipsticks are described in the order they are pictured and swatched.



1. Meet Matt(e) Hughes in the color Charming. This color is a very soft matte maroon. These retail for about $17 online and at Khols. This lipstick glides on very smoothly and never leaves the lips dry. They last all day and are also peppermint scented!



2. Meet Matt(e) Huges in the color Committed this color is a very soft matte pink it is also peppermint scented. Just like the color Charming it is very smooth on the lips. I received the sample size from Ipsy but the original size is also available at Khols and online for $17. These are some of the best lipsticks I have tried.



3. Katy Kat Matte in the color Catoure this is a very pretty pink and is available at drug stores for about $6 it is not matte at all though. It is very sheer and does not last all day. It is a great lipstick if your lips need a break from drying matte colors.



4. Colour Pop's Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Chi. These retail for about $6 online although they can be drying, you can apply chapstick before applying them and they will last all day. This color is a very nude pink, although it looks dark when swatched it looks very light when applied.



5. Color Pop's Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Tulle. This lipstick also retails for $6 online this is a very dark violet but its is the perfect dark color and also lasts all day.



6. Nabi Matte Lipgloss in the color Champagne. These retails for about $2 or $3 at walmart online or at most flea markets. It is hard to belive they are so cheap because they are very comfortable not drying at all and last all day!



7. L.A. Girl Flat Finish Pigment gloss in the color Fleur. I purchased this listick for $3 in LA but I am sure it is also available in most flea markets. It can be a bit drying but it is a nice pink shade that also lasts all day.




8. NYX Matte Lip Cream in the color Stockholm (Not Pictured).These are some of the best lipsticks ever, they do not last all day but they are so creamy and never dry the lips. This color would definitely be a dupe for Meet Matt(e) in the color Charming for half the cost. They retail for about $7 at Target.



9. NYX Lingerie Lipstick in the color Embellishment (Not Pictured). These retail for about $8 at Ulta and Target. There was so much hype about these lipsticks so I decided to purchase one and try them for myself but it was the worst mistake ever. These are so drying and sticky, they might work for some people but I hated it. The color was pretty the formula not so much. If you think Colour Pop is drying these are 100 times worse and sticky at the same time.
