The new iPhone 6 has made navigating through the phone easier than it already was. With features like the 3D touch (the press harder), as well as a Siri update, it is easier than ever to use. All of the new features require users to touch the home screen button less, ditch useless apps and move the phone up and down.

The 3D Touch is an adjustable sensitive touch that enables shortcuts when entering an app. Siri is either loved or hated by people. You are supposed to talk to Siri as you would talk to a friend, so when you ask her a question you say “Hey Siri” first. It is a hit or miss, but when it does work it is super convenient.

I think we can all agree that battery life is an issue for everyone. Never leaving the house without a phone charger in hand is less of an issue with the power saving feature. A pop up for this feature automatically comes up once your phone reaches 20 percent, though it can be turned on at any battery percentage. Basically, squeezes any battery left out to keep the phone on as long as possible.

One of the cool features is the live photo stream. When you take an excess amount of pictures at a time the photo stream makes a video-type creation. It shows the movement you make between each picture.

Though the camera is not as great as the samsung galaxy or the Moto X, the front camera has become what the new users are raving about. It is a five-megapixel front camera that has a flash when in a dark setting. More excuses to take fabulous selfies.

“Usually I get annoyed when people take an obnoxious amount of photos at one time on my phone, but with this new feature I was entertained with the face I could see the movements made between the photo bursts,” said Erica Shannon, a sophomore at the University of Alabama.

Not all of these features are offered for the IOS 9 software update, but if you get the iPhone 6s, you have access to all of the excitement.

Most importantly, if you are getting the new iPhone, make sure to look into getting the rose gold (pink) phone so everyone can know you have the latest Apple product.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
