Pittsburgh has a lot of restaurants. Some are good, some are bad. That's just how things go. But one restaurant that is worth checking out is a small Chinese place, located in Squirrel Hill, called Everyday Noodles.
One of the best thing about the restaurant is that it features a live cooking show. The diner is set up so that the eaters can watch the employees make the food. You can see them making the noodles by taking a long piece of dough and pretty much slap it around. It's a dinner and a show.
Me and my boyfriend decided to try out something new and we came across this place. When we first arrived, it was booming. There were so many people inside and people outside waiting for tables. The employees were very friendly and told us that it would be about fifteen minutes.
Once we got seated, the inside was beautiful. The decor and dining furniture was really tasteful and added a very pleasant vibe to the scene. The menu was somewhat like Burgatory, if you have ever been there. The menu is a list of things that they have and you literally mark what you want. Obviously, there are categories to choose from such as, desserts, appetizers, etc.
I got the Chicken Noodle Soup Consomme and my boyfriend got the Pork and Vegetable Potstickers. We got an appetizer of Beef Tendon and a dessert of Creamy Crispy Mini Bun (yummy!!). Everything was delicious and well prepared. It was brought out in a timely manor, even though the were so busy. But, the one thing that really had me hooked was the Mini Buns. They were absolutely phenomenal. They were four little buns with a creamy icing of some sort on top. They were warm, crispy, and delicious!
If you ever are in Squirrel Hill or are looking for a new place to eat at try Everyday Noodles!
