Every year we all make wild claims of change and reinvention when the New Year arrives. I've fallen down every year even before January can end and it seems like resolutions are less like "Oh The Places You'll Go" and more like "Letting Yourself Down Slowly."
So I'm proposing an alternative.
I'm proposing that we make baby steps as our goals instead of unrealistic life-altering resolutions.
Here are some ideas to foster positive vibes instead of feeling disappointed come February:
1. Do more yoga
2. Be kind to myself
3. Be kinder to others
4. Go outside more
5. Read a book about a kind, wise person
Anything that promotes health, kindness, and goodness should make it on that list. And remember: baby steps. "Little by little, one travels far" - J. R. R. Tolkien.
Cheers
