Some days you feel blue like your life may be spiraling in a thousand directions, or maybe you just can't get the energy to climb out of bed. Those are simply moments in which you need to remember the little things that make life so darn wonderful. These delightful little things happen so often that we don't get to stop and think about how precious each tiny thing in life is.
1. When you look in the opposite direction of the sunset in the sky and the other half of the world looks as though it's painted with streaks of cotton candy.
2. Sticking your hand out the car window on a mild and sunny day.
3. The warmth of coffee, tea or hot cocoa on your hands after being outside in the winter air.
4. Sitting back and listening to the instrumentals of your favorite song.
5. When landing a plane at night during snowfall it looks as though there's glitter floating in the air.
6. Getting smiles from strangers.
7. Seeing random delighted babies and stumbling puppies during your daily commute.
8. A full sky of stars-- in the presence of someone important to you.
Whenever you're under the weather or feeling a tad down, remember the little, beautiful things and smile.
