Your heart is still racing. Your forehead still has beads of sweat. But you're okay, for now. The panic attack is over, and you're beginning to feel normal again, beginning to feel like a person. But what now? How can you ensure that it won't happen again? These thoughts are racing through your head, and the cycling starts back up again and you feel another one coming.

Stop.

Breathe.

You can't predict your next panic attack. No one can. Of course, there are triggers, we all have them. But there is not calculator or clock that will tell you when the next one is going to happen. All you can do is try your hardest to relax and de-stress. As someone who has lived with anxiety for over a decade, I know how hard it is to come down from an anxiety attack. It's difficult and it's annoying and it sucks. So here's how I make it less horrible.

1. Listen to music. I keep a playlist on my phone of my favorite songs that relax me, and every time I feel myself getting anxious, I put my headphones in, close my eyes, and listen

2. Exercise. I find that when I'm stressed, going on a run helps clear my head. Even just doing stretches or a few weights can make you feel better.

3. Yoga. Before bed and when I wake up, I do yoga in order to de-stress and get into a good mindset. There are a ton of short routines on the Internet that even the busiest of people have time to do.

4. Meditate. Meditation helps me especially after an anxiety attack. It only takes about 10 minutes and its one of the most relaxing things to do, no matter if you're feeling amazing or awful.

5. Eat healthy. Eating healthier helps both your body and your mind be in the best place it can be. Add vegetables and fruits to meals helps you get extra vitamins and boosts your mood, while boosting your immune system. It may not feel like it helps, but trust me, it does.

So next time you have an anxiety attack, remember these tips. But most importantly, remember that you are normal, and that you are not alone.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
