So now in the NBA world, were right now approaching almost the end of NBA free agency and youngsters just got picked to their NBA teams from the draft and a lot of them are playing in the NBA Summer League right now. So far this year there have been many unexpected moves, some surprising moves, and other moves that you knew were going to happen. From now 'til the start of the next NBA season, there's already a lot of news to recap in the NBA.

After the Cleveland Cavaliers came back from a three-to-one series NBA finals deficit against the Golden State Warriors to win the NBA Finals, the shift over from the NBA finals to the NBA free agency started early for some players before July 1st NBA trade deadline. On June 22nd, the Atlanta Hawks traded guard Jeff Teague to the Indiana Pacers as part of a three-way deal. The deal also involves guard George Hill going from the Indiana Pacers to the Utah Jazz and the Utah Jazz will send their 12th pick to the NBA Draft to Atlanta. During that time this was the first biggest trade in the NBA as Indiana got a very good guard in Teague who should help the Pacers backcourt alongside the other guard Monte Ellis. The next following day after the Teague trade, there was a trade that really could be big if this player can stay healthy all year. On June twenty third, Derrick Roses time with the Bulls was over. Rose was acquired by the New York Knicks. In the Rose deal, the Knicks sent guards Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant along with center Robin Lopez going to Chicago. Knicks also brought guard Justin Holiday in that deal. For a Knicks team who already has an All Star in Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks rising star in Kristaps Porzingis. The New York Knicks offseason wasn't done there. The team got Jeff Hornacek as their new head coach who's taking over head coach Derrick Fisher and Interm Coach Kurt Rambis. Hornacek and President Phil Jackson will try to go for a much better season this coming year. Derrick Roses teammate in Chicago, Center Joakim Noah got a four year, $72 million contract to join with the Knicks. To build off of those big time moves for the Knicks, getting shooting guard Courtney Lee and guard Brandon Jennings from the Orlando Magic. So now with the Teague trade and the acquisition of Rose, there were two other big names that were headlined for free agency. Those are Kevin Durant and Al Horford. Durant and Horford had a lot of tough decisions to make during a long process after this past NBA season was over. After all the news and speculation, Horford was the first one to make the decision. I was really happy to find out his decision as his final two teams were either going back to Atlanta or coming to Boston to join the Celtics. His decision was that he was going to join the Boston Celtics. Horford's contract to Boston is for four years at $113 million. Horford's presence will be huge for head coach Brad Stevens team. He can shoot, rebound, pass the ball, play great defense. It will really help take a young Celtics team over the top. The big splash came on July fourth. Kevin Durant's decision coming down to three teams including the Golden State Warriors, Okalahoma City Thunder and the Boston Celtics. His final decision was that he was leaving Oklahoma City and now playing for the Golden State Warriors. This makes the Warriors from dominating to almost unstoppable. Now with a lineup of the splash brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala, this makes this team almost unfair to play against. With Durant's arrival to Golden State, there were many others who left Golden State including two of the starters from last year. Harrsion Barnes and Andrew Bogut left to go the Dallas Mavericks. These will both be key losses, but with the addition of Durant, there shouldn't be much to worry about for Warriors fans in the Bay Area. There are many others big addition and players coming from trades but there was one more key player who recently just moved which really surprised me. In my mind Dwanye Wade was coming back to Miami despite some hearing offers from other teams. Wades final move was when he left Miami where he played all of his entire career before he left and now he's playing for the Chicago Bulls where he grew up. Wade will be playing for a new look Bulls team with already getting guard Rajon Rondo and most likely keeping Jimmy Butler as well.

I don't know about you guys, but I think that this year's NBA season will be very exciting. I think with all these big additions and getting players through trades, there will be more competition through both the Eastern and Western Conferences. Even though that this offseason is not officially over, there's already been a lot of excitement for a lot of teams in the NBA.
