Tattoos influence people in so many different ways and are much less taboo than they used to be. Here are eight reasons why you should consider maybe getting your first one, or continue getting more.

1. It can be literally anything you want them to be.

2. You can make it as big or as small as you want.

3. It can have meaning.

4. It can have absolutely no meaning.

5. It can have color or no color.

6. It can be visible to everyone or in a hidden spot.

7. You can get one with your besties.

8. Most importantly, it is for you and no one else.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
