Heading into December, the Grand Old Party has a very uncertain future as to who will win the primary election and represent the Republican party this election year. With Carson and Trump leading the pack for now, there are still many questions that surround them and the other candidates going into next year.
1. Will Ben Carson get devoured by the media?
Ben Carson is one of two candidates at the front of the pack for the time being, but there is no denying that he is not one of the favorites in the media. Carson's demeanor oozes intelligence and his career as a brain surgeon certainly shows that he knows how to use his head. But Carson has almost no experience in politics, and the media loves to use that as an attack on him. Carson recently used his Twitter page to share sarcastic headlines as ways that the media unfairly attacks him. The fake headline below says, "In the fall of 1962, Ben Carson checked out a library book and returned it two days late."

2. Will Donald Trump continue to have success?
Donald Trump is one of the loudest candidates currently in the GOP race. When he is not attacking Rosie O'Donnell, he's talking about building his "wall." Trump is liked by his supporters because he is a successful business man who knows the ins and outs of the economy. He also comes across as the man who will not go easy on any of America's enemies. On the other hand, his aggressive stance on all issues can sometimes make his mouth run faster than his brain. Will Trump say something that hurts him in the long-run? Only time will tell.
3. Can Carly Fiorina continue to gain ground?
Carly Fiorina originally found herself debating on the "Little League" stage while the rest of the Republican candidates duked it out in prime-time earlier this year. Her skills behind the podium quickly proved that the former HP CEO belonged in the race with the likes of the other well-known republican candidates. Since making the move to the larger debate stage, Fiorina hasn't experienced the same success. The debate in December should be a telling sign of whether Fiorina will re-kindle the success she had early in the race.

4. Can Rubio become the candidate Republicans thought he could be?
When Obama won the presidential election for his second term, years ago the Republican party felt that Florida Senator, Marco Rubio would be the Republican Candidate to give Hilary Clinton a good run in 2016. Rubio is certainly not out of the GOP race, even though he trails Carson and Trump at the moment. He needs a signature moment in the coming debates to continue to close in on the current front runners.
5. Will Ted Cruz's debate skills bring him to the top?
Ted Cruz is a debate champion who attended Princeton, and he is a very strong presence in front of the camera. The Texas Senator has been very successful in the debates, and appears to always have the right answers when asked the tough questions. However, he does not have the same track record as some of the other candidates on the stage.

6. Will Jeb Bush's last name hurt him in his campaign?
This has been the question from the beginning. Bush has even made the logo from his campaign only say, Jeb! in order to distance himself from his relatives. It is not fair to compare him to his brother, but it is going to happen. Jeb needs some more momentum if he wants a brighter future.
