These Are The Top 5 Easiest Classes At UCF

I am very proud to say I am graduating in May! However, if you're in one of the rare cases like I am, there are not very many classes left to take. I can officially say I have a legit "blowoff semester" -- a semester in which every college student dreams of having. Taking the easiest classes just to get the credits and graduate, but they have absolutely nothing to do with your college education. It's great. UCF, like every other university, has blowoff classes. I am going to give you five of them that you can consider; and yes, these are legitimate classes.

1. PEL 2111 - Bowling

Yes, my fellow knights, bowling is indeed a class. You meet once a week, you bowl for almost 2 hours, and you go home. I really hope by the end of this class you can at least score a 100 every time you step up to the lane because you will be bowling a lot if you put this on your schedule. Fair warning, the exams aren't the easiest, but come on people, it's bowling.

2. PEL 2121 - Beginner Golf

Of course, I have to shout out my one true love: golf. With golf being one of the hardest sports in the history of mankind, this class won't necessarily help you get better at golf, but it does give you a better understanding. And yes, you will be hitting range balls every week. Exams are also pretty easy. If you really love this class, take PEL 2122, which is the Intermediate Level. I know I'm probably biased, but best class ever!

3. FIL 2030 - History of Motion Pictures

Who can forget the good old online film class at UCF that requires you to literally Netflix and chill. You watch movies, you get quizzed on it, and you get an A. Very easy, and very straightforward. The best part of this class? You can finish it in a week if you really wanted to, which makes this class quite popular as a general education credit.

4. VIC 3001 - Visual Communication

Mass communication people, this class is needed for you to receive your degree or minor. Why is this on the list? The class is completely online, you can definitely do the class in three weeks or less, and the quizzes are really easy. Also, you learn about memes in society. MEMES. Memes have finally made their way into our college education -- this is real stuff people!

5. SLS 1501 - Strategies For Students Success

My young and fresh first year students, this one is for you. This class is pretty much how to prepare yourself on how to be successful in college. You'll learn good study habits, the student resources UCF has to offer you, and other academic resources you can implement in your schedule if you're struggling at any point. Perfect for anyone stressed about the college life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
