1. Hardly making it through finals week without falling apart
When you know you get to go home for so long so soon, it makes studying and finishing the semester strong ten times harder. Not to mention that it's the last you'll ever see of the classes you're in.
2. Wanting to buy all of your family and friends the presents they deserve, but having no money to do it
After spending the little amount of money you have on food, you want to get your loved ones meaningful presents but you can hardly afford a card.
3. Looking like you haven't been fed in months when you eat your food at Christmas dinner
We're all guilty of stuffing our face from a combination of excitement for real food and actual hunger at the holiday dinners.
4. Having to deal without college football until the National Championship
Saturdays may be for the boys. But they're for college football, too.
5. Having too much free time on your hands that you don't know what to do
When you don't have classes spread out at random times throughout the week, you tend to wonder what to do with your free time that you've missed so much.
6. Realizing how much you missed everything back at home
Whether it's your pets, family, friends, house, or bed, it can be overwhelming.
7. Forgetting what it feels like to get a good night of sleep
Anyything's better than a twin size bed and a "mattress pad."
8. Remembering that you have to actually go back to 8 ams and microwaveable dinners
And when the holiday season is over, we come to the sad realization that our extended break has come to an end, and we have to head back to the reality of ramen noodles and sleepless nights.
