As the second semester of college is quickly approaching and the end of winter break is near, you're probably freaking out on what to do or how your liver is going to survive the next round of parties.
1. The Gym is your love-hate Best Friend
Turns out, Christmas calories do count and I only have two months to get the beach bod. That's my current nightmare.
2. Books, Books, and More Books
Actually order your books and not wait until the last minute. Use your books to a regular basis and not let them pick up dust. While you're at it, pick up a book to relax yourself when you're stressed out.
3. Set a GPA Goal
After making decent grades or not making grades, strive to do better with your GPA. Have a 3.0? Try to get a 3.5 or above. There's always room for improvement, except if you have a 4.0.
4. Get your crafts done
Let's be honest, once school starts you're going to forget about the unfinished crafts you still have left to finish or slightly panicking about the formal cooler you haven't started on. Get them done before you head back so you have time for more important priorities.
5. Clean out your liver
NYE is now over and its now time to get back to business. Partying on Friday's and Saturday's is a must but not in the middle of the week. But let's be real, it's not going to happen.
6. Sleep... a lot.
Spend the next few days sleeping until 1pm, you deserve it since you won't be getting sleep once you make it back to college with the random DD calls and homework at 3 a.m.
7. Eat Healthy, binge later
I live for the amount of healthy food I have access to when I'm not at school, on top of the home cooked meals. Take advantage of the food places around you because then you'll be stuck with college food soon. I'm not all about eating Chick-Fil-A every single day of my college life.
8. Focus on yourself more
Less boys, More sisters.
9. Leave procrastination at home
College is the absolute worst place to procrastinate. It's acceptable to procrastinate at home because you don't have any obligations for the most part.
10. Netflix
I encourage to start a new series and not binge watch it entirely so you have something to do in your free time in college.
11. Go out more
Taking a lazy day isn't bad but try going out more with friends and getting yourself out there. A new adventure awaits each day and sometimes you don't get that in college. Let whatever adventures happen and go with it.
12. Reality Check
Now you're off to finish the second half of this year. Finish off the year like TCUs' comeback in the second half of the Alamo bowl and prove all odds against those who don't believe in you.
