The Kardashians are definitely a household name and have increased their fame dramatically over the past few years. Many people are not fans of this famous family for a million reasons. I, however, definitely "Keep up with the Kardashians" and watch their show every Sunday night and basically know everything about everyone in the family. Believe it or not, the Kardashian clan has done some positive things for the world. Here are a few:

1. Body image love.

Kim Kardashian posts nude selfies all the time and gets called all sorts of names for doing so. However, she's proud of her body and wants all girls to embrace their body type and to love themselves the way they are. All of the Kardashian sisters embrace their curves and encourage others to do so as well.

2. Interracial relationships.

When the Kardashians first stepped onto the scene a few years ago, most couples on TV were only of a singular race. This family has definitely changed peoples opinions on interracial relationships and made it a more common aspects within families. Kanye West, Kim's husband, even said that he thought their relationship was accepted only after they posed for the cover of Vogue magazine.

3. Educating people on the Armenian Genocide.

Robert Kardashian, the father to Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Rob, was Armenian and was very vocal about their heritage. Many people did not even know there was an Armenian Genocide, where one and a half million people were murdered, until the Kardashians visited Armenia in honor of the 100 year anniversary of the genocide.

4. Transgender acceptance.

Having your famous Olympic step-father transition into a woman was definitely an influential change within the family. Even though it is a big deal and a lot of people do not accept this change, the amount of support shown within the family over Caitlyn Jenner, has changed the way people react to transgender people.

5. Fertility problems.

Fertility issues are very common within women all over the world. Kim and Khloe were very open about their fertility issues and addressed all of their problems head-on. Khloe especially has been very public with her fertility problems, which a lot of other women can relate to.

6. Sisterhood.

The five Kardashian/Jenner sisters are all very different in their own ways. However, they all attend each others events and are very supportive of each other. Everyone always tries to criticize them and pit them against each other, but they are all very supportive of each other. There have been some very honest moments on the show of them fighting with each other and having disagreements, but this is common in all sisters.

7. Women can be in charge of their own business.

Kris Jenner earned the title "Momager" and she definitely deserves it for managing her six children's careers and keeping her family as front page news for almost a decade. She has been the back bone of the family fortune. Many people do not like Kris Jenner, but she is a good business woman and proves that women can be their own bosses.

8. Hospital volunteering.

People think that Kim Kardashian has never done anything for society. But, for the past seven years she has been regularly volunteering at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Not only does she donate all of the proceeds from her eBay clothing sales, but she also visits sick children, especially during the holidays. These aren't photo ops either, she also showers the kids in gifts and even paints their nails.

9. Feeding the homeless.

Kylie Jenner is mostly known for her lip kits and Instagram posts, but she also helps people in need. While she was still dating rapper Tyga, the two of them would volunteer at the Los Angeles mission just off of Skid Row and would serve Thanksgiving dinners to the homeless who rely on the charity of others. A couple of weeks later, Kylie and Tyga brought a wheelbarrow full of toys to kids in the hospital.

10. Helping women in Haiti.

In 2011, Kris and Kim went to Haiti to help victims of the earthquake that devastated the country. The two worked with the charity called We Advance, which was set up by Kris Jenner to improve the lives of women within Haiti. Kim also spent several days visiting orphanages and donating tons of money to help the people of Haiti.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
