The best Music Festivals from around the world.

Your Personal Checklist Of Music Festivals And Their Lineups

Spring is finally here, but it’s not the only season upon us, music festival season is here too! This year especially seems to be a music festival heavy year, because the festival culture is starting to influence pop culture. Many clothing stores have come out with their spring catalogs and spring lines that are dedicated to festival attire: fringe, flowers, jean shorts, lacey white shirts and eccentric sunglasses. These festivals build up a loyal fan base because of their amazing lineups and popular locations. Thanks to social media like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter if you have or had one friend that attended one of these festivals you instantly wanted to be there to, because you were instantly jealous of their pics, duh. Even though most of them are ridiculously expensive (especially for college students) people are willing to spend somewhere around $300 for the experience and the vibes. So just take my money already and let me rock out to the sweet tunes.

14. Camp Bisco

In the green hills of Pennsylvania, Camp Bisco is the place to take that mid-summer break from your internship or your summer job. It's sure to be a great time and especially convenient for fellow north easterners.

13. Beyond Wonderland

One of the First major music festivals to start off the season. Even though the 2016 festival already happened now you have a chance to plan ahead for next year California people! And remember the most important headliner of all is YOU.

12. Mad Decent Block Party

They haven't announced their line-up for the 2016 season yet but you know the mad decent block parties are more than just "mad decent" the great thing about these "block parties" is that they happen all across the country and have a variety of different spectacular lineups. Now is the perfect time to see when you'll be there this summer.

11. iHeart Radio Music Festival

iHeart radio is the best of the radio's new artists, it might be filled with more high school girls than you would like it to be, but hey high school girls have to be high school girls, ya know? But, it's sure to be a good time in Vegas!

10. Firefly

In The Woodlands of Delaware the Firefly festival is bound to be lit! This year the lineup is ridiculously amazing and you're not gonna want to miss out on an opportunity like this, especially if you live around the area.

9. Lallapalooza

This year Lalla, as the natives like to call it, is celebrating it's 25th year with a 4 day concert, yep you heard it right, not 3 but 4 days of insane artists, music and major vibes, you won't want to miss it in the beautiful windy city of Chicago!

8. Ibiza Closing Parties

Even though this isn't really a music festival, Ibiza parties are supposedly some of the craziest and funnest parties in the world. Ibiza closing parties happen around late September and they attract the best DJ's worldwide and the craziest fans from Europe and around the world, if your ever in Spain during this time you might want to check it out for yourself.

7. Electric Zoo

Ezoo is probably the last weekend of the summer or for those of us who already began school, a festival that we go to to try to forget the summer ended. They haven't announced the 2016 line-up yet but it's bound to be good. Rave on.

6. Mysteryland

Another New York Music festival, and another opportunity to rave in the northeast. Mystery land won't disappoint.

5. Tomorrowland

One of the best European music festivals has expanded all over the world, originally taken place in Belgium this year they have expanded to Brazil and other countries around the world. And the lineup is straight fire.

4. Electric Daisy Carnival

EDC originally started in las vegas and has quickly spread out throughout the country. It is an epic rave experience and one of the more popular ones too, not to mention the artists come out with new albums of the performances so you can party with their festival music wherever and whenever you want.

3. The Governors Ball Music Festival

The best way to start off the summer is at Randall's Island Park under the NY sun and blasting some Kanye!! Personally, this is the festival I hope to be attending this year.

2. Ultra

Ultra Miami is where the realest ravers go, usually during spring break. At Ultra it is the best of the best, the best DJ's, the best weather, the best ravers and the best music.

1. Coachella

The famous Coachella. Palm Springs, Southern California, mid April. It seems like all the best of the best go to Coachella, not just the profferers but the audiences have attracted celebrities from around the world. Coachella is music festival goals and I hope one day I can afford to attend (and be cool enough to attend).

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
