Boobs come in all different shapes and sizes. Each person is unique in their own way and we are all beautiful no matter what. Here are some perks for people like me who have smaller boobs:
1. You don't always have to wear a bra.
How will people notice you're not wearing a bra if you have nothing for the bra to really support? I can go to class with a baggy sweatshirt on without anyone even questioning me about whether or not I'm wearing a bra. My friends are so jealous of this and I love it. Sleeping without a bra on, jumping right out of bed and putting on a nice, comfy sweatshirt is pretty awesome!
2. You can sleep comfortably on your stomach.
According to sleep professionals, sleeping on your stomach is bad because your breasts are pressed against your mattress for hours. When you don't have boobs, they can't be squished when you sleep on your stomach. Therefore, sleeping on your stomach is actually very comfortable. I obviously really would not know how it feels like to sleep on my stomach with bigger boobs, but from what I've heard it isn't comfortable at all and causes significant strain to your lower back.
3. You can work out comfortably.
Sports bras are awesome and you don't have to worry about wearing two to make sure you're all secured when going for a run. My friends who have bigger breasts always are complaining to me that their boobs flop all around all of the time when they're working out. Thankfully, I don't even have to think about that being a problem.
4. Bandeaus and built in bras are your friend.
They are basically all you need! Bandeaus are known to not be one of the sturdier types of bras, so wearing one when you have much more to support could end up being a major problem. If you don't have much to support in the first place, bandeaus and built in bras are definitely your friend.
5. You can wear a low cut top without showing any cleavage.
Some people might like showing cleavage, but I don't so this is definitely a perk of being flat-chested. Some people who are not so fortunate don't like showing cleavage, therefore, they have to continuously pull up their shirt to try and hide it. I can just let my low cut top have a mind of it's own and do whatever the heck it wants without having to worry about anything. For this, I will forever be grateful.
6. You always win at limbo and go head-first on the slip-n-slide.
Sometimes big boobs quite honestly just get in the way. With my smaller chest, I can win at limbo without accidently touching the bar with my chest and I can go head first down the slip-n-slide without even thinking twice about if it will be painful or not!
There are obviously some disadvantages of having small boobs as well, but overall I am not ashamed to say I am flat-chested.
