6 Overrated (And 6 Underrated) NFL Teams Coming Into This Season

49ers and Bears should slow their role, while you should watch out for Lions and Cardinals.

With week one of the preseason having been played, football is officially back, and the NFL 2018-19 season has begun. With the new season comes new predictions as to who will win this year's Super Bowl. Some of these predictions are grounded in reality, but many are not. So, here are 6 overrated and underrated NFL teams coming into this new season.

Overrated: Houston Texans

Yes, you have JJ Watt, but stop treating Deshaun Watson like he was walking on water or something. I'll hedge my bets until I see how he returns from that torn ACL.

Underrated: Indianapolis Colts

They have almost no talent except for quarterback, but that guy can play. He could get five or six wins by himself, which is good because he might have to.

Overrated: San Fransisco 49ers

Jimmy G is not a god. He wasn't even that good, even though he was able to squeak out a few wins. However, the talent level just isn't there right now for this team.

Underrated: Arizona Cardinals

With a top three running back returning from injury, the reigning league leader in sacks, one of the best receivers of all time, and a new first round pick at quarterback, the Cardinals can make some noise this year.

Overrated: Dallas Cowboys

Ezequiel Elliot may be back, but the receiving corps looks like a JV squad without Dez Bryant, and Dak Prescott didn't inspire confidence last season. That defense looks kinda sketchy, too.

Underrated: Washington Redskins

Alex Smith was almost an MVP candidate. Now, he's on a new team along with a new running back and a revamped defense. That division is tough, but Washington is no pushover.

Overrated: Chicago Bears

As a Bears fan, they will underachieve. The stats will be good, but it won't translate to wins, or years of heartbreak have made me a cynic with this team. Either way, I don't expect much.

Underrated: Detroit Lions

A top ten quarterback will always keep you in games. A good offensive line and defense don't hurt either. This team has the talent to make playoffs this year.

Overrated: Cleveland Browns

Remember last year when Cleveland was hyped as a much improved team? They then proceeded to go 0-16, not winning a single game. Be wary, Browns fans.

Underrated: Denver Broncos

For years, the Broncos have had everything except a quarterback. Now they have one, and as long as everything else remains constant, this team could be pretty decent this year.

Overrated: Seattle Seahawks

The team only has three good players left (Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner, and Earl Thomas) and one of them can't even play because he destroyed his neck. They just have no talent left to pick up the slack, and with all the other teams on the division on the rise, it could get ugly for Seattle

Underrated: New England Patriots

It's hard to imagine how the Patriots could be underrated, but it seems like every year people say they won't make it to the Super Bowl...and then they do. Keep that in mind. Also, Tom Brady is still Tom Brady, so that's twelve wins right there.

Well, that's my take. Really hope I'm wrong about the Bears, but I've been a Bears fan too long to believe that.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
