You know who you are. You’re the boy who stole my heart and continues to amaze me each and every day. You’re the boy who completely changed my life within a short amount of time. You’re the boy who makes me smile when I don’t know that I can that day. You are wonderful, sweet, kind and gentle. Oh, and handsome, very handsome. But sometimes I don’t think I tell you just how much you mean to me. I think that sometimes it’s hard for me to put it all into one sentence or paragraph without getting super emotional (you know how I get). However, I am doing that now, and although I have to shorten the list of qualities I love about you, I will do my best to put it all into one reading.

You listen even when I am not speaking.

That probably sounds weird, but I think there are moments when there is complete silence between us, and you can tell by my body language that something is up. I feel like sometimes I don’t have to say anything to you for you to understand what I am feeling in that moment. Somehow, you just know. And trust me, when I am crying and am incapable or speaking, that is a blessing.

The endless sappy romantic movies you take me to.

I should apologize for this, but I think you secretly love all of the movies I have made you see. Thank you for never arguing with me about seeing that new Nicholas Sparks movie that I just have to see even though we both know that it will make me cry the whole time.

Since we are on the topic of crying, I most definitely will apologize for that, though I will say you handle that like a champ. Thank you for not looking at me like I am crazy while I cry for no reason at all. And thank you for only occasionally laughing at me when I cry while watching "One Tree Hill."

Thank you for only being a phone call away.

There has never been a moment in our relationship when I am upset, and you are not there to comfort me. You always find time to comfort me, whether it be sending a funny picture, calling me so I can hear your voice or sending a paragraph text about how much you love me. It is highly appreciated.

You are always my voice of reason.

My mind tends to go to the worst possible situation, and whether I like it or not, you always boost positivity in my life. I don’t always appreciate it in the moment, but looking back at it now, I definitely needed it each and every time. The world could be ending, and only you could keep my calm and collected.

You make me laugh..... Even when I don't want to.

Laughing is the best medicine out there. I don’t know how you do it, but you always find a way to make me laugh or smile even when I tell you I’m not in the mood.

You are my best friend.

You know everything about me. Like a best friend should, you listen to me vent, support my decisions and Netflix binge with me. You are also my best friend on Snapchat. Coincidence? I think not.

You love me for me.

I have never felt the need to change for you. This is how I knew I loved you. We don’t have all of the same interests and beliefs, but I have never felt as though you admired me any less because of the differences. I knew I could be myself with you. And when we had different opinions, we could talk about it, instead of arguing.

I don’t know how I got so lucky to have you in my life, but I am so incredibly thankful that I have you. I never really knew how truly amazing love could be until I met you. So thank you for treating me like a princess, and thank you for being you. You may not realize how amazing you are, but I’m telling you now that I do, and I wish you could see yourself through my eyes. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us. If it is anything like what these past couple of years have been like, then we are in for a sweet treat.
