Before meeting you, I was cautious as to who my brother brought around. After seeing him get hurt time after time, I only wanted the best for him. I wanted to see him find and marry that "special someone" and eventually raise a family. The woman he ended up marrying had to be approved by me. I was that crazy sister, protective of my brother. You marry my brother, you basically marry me. I began to lose hope for him at one time, thinking he would be forever alone. But I knew he was too good for that and would one day find his person.

I remember meeting you years ago. At first I thought, "Here we go again." But then something happened. I got to know you. You genuinely wanted to get to know me, and it wasn't just an act you put on for all of us. I could see the chemistry between you and my brother. The way you two looked at each other, I knew there couldn't have been a more better match. I could see how truly happy he was, nothing I had ever seen before from him like this. Thanks to you, his personality was brought out more, and we got to see sides to him we never knew he had. You got to know my whole family and developed a relationship with each and every one of us. You fit right in. That is when I knew you were the one.

Throughout the years, you taught me so many lessons. Making sure I would not make the same mistakes as you, your advice was always what I needed, regardless of whether or not I liked it. When it came to boys, fashion, and even doing my makeup, you taught me everything I know. It was like I had all the inside tips and secrets to life. Even in my darkest places, you were always there for me, making sure I would be okay. You were a shoulder for me to cry on in times of despair and someone who could make me cry from laughing at the silliest things.

Fast forward years later, and you two are still madly in love. From the day of the wedding until now, it was like nothing had ever changed. Of course you guys have argued before like every couple, but you have always been able to overcome any obstacles thrown your way. I look up to you in so many ways and only hope that I can be at least half the woman you are someday. It has truly been a pleasure watching the bond between us grow stronger. My brother is the happiest he has ever been thanks to you. There are so many experiences that will come your guys' way, and I can't wait to see where this journey of life takes you two.
