Day to day, we forget about all the little things that make us happy. We have become such slaves to a routine and live our lives in a constant hurry. Our eyes are glued to time, and we forget to stop and smile. For the longest time, I forgot about myself. I forgot about the things I loved. I forgot how to relax and laugh. And making me smile doesn’t take a thousand dollars or whatever else. To remind myself of what makes me happy, I compiled a list of many things I find simple joy in. I hope you can find a handful of things in the list that make you happy too.

There are tons of things that bring a smile to my face but these are just a few. Remember it is important to smile. It is important to be selfish sometimes. You deserve to put attention on yourself, and you deserve to enjoy life. Please allow yourself to seek joy in the little things. Rid yourself of conversations or relationships that do not bring you any positivity to your life. Create your own list of things that make you happy and treat yourself every now and then. Sometimes I buy myself flowers or go on a night drive. You are so worthy and wonderful. Embrace yourself and smile a little bit.
