Now is the time to do that crazy thing you have always wanted to do. Whether that is going skydiving or taking an impromptu trip to visit some friends at their respective schools, now is the time. Being young means we have time and energy to do anything and everything. Sure as young folks, we aren't always cash flow positive but that's okay! Taking that trip with one friend to Madison to hang out with her friends is something you should do! Don't get to a point in your life where you say "man, I wish I would have gone there/did that." You have the ability now, and let's be honest, when are you going to get to do crazy things again?
You have to be in charge of your own life and know that if you want to do something then you have to work to get it. Things are not just handed to you. If you want to travel, make it happen. If you want to buy that purse you've been staring at through the window for six months, save for it and make it happen. Life goes by in a flash and you need to have fun now. Sure when you get older, you can still go out and still sky dive or travel if you want, but there is something about being young that makes it different. The responsibility is school rather than work for 40 hours a week. If you wake up regretting last night's decisions, everyone just says "oh, to be young again." It's our time to come alive and have the times of our lives. Sure having nights in are great, do not get me wrong, but if you get the chance to do something spontaneous, why not?
Now is the time to live your lives and do things you won't ever tell your kids you did. Have the time of your life and do what makes you happy. Do that one thing you've wanted to do for years but have been too scared, or have some time to figure yourself out. Whatever it is you need in your life, now is the time. Everyone tells you that you have your entire life to do things but let's be honest here, once you start adulting the spontaneous things you could do now will be harder to do because of responsibilities you have.
So go out and have the time of your life. You're young, have fun, now's the time.
