First Of All, There's A New Trend On Twitter

First of all, I love college.

My roommate has been reading aloud some of her favorite Tweets from the latest "first of all" trend and by the tenth one, I knew this was some of Twitter's best work. This past week people have been taking to Twitter and sharing common thoughts paired with a "first of all" of a situation's actual realities. So, I scrolled through and read hundreds of tweets about college "first of alls" and these are among the best ones.

1. Said every professor ever.

You don't know what is possible with a pot of coffee and a big bag of candy.

2. For sure the best years.

We also defy the laws of common sense.

3. What is studying?

Let's be real, are you even going to study next time (hopefully yes)?

1. When people start to ask me questions about a class.

Hence why people go out on a Monday night.

5. Naps over everything.

This one might be debatable.

6. Sadly, not all dropouts have a net worth of over a billion dollars.

I mean maybe if we put our minds together we can make the next big thing.

7. Work hard, play hard.

Or work hard play harder?

8.The three components of college.

You might consider adding a nap into this too.

9. Living la vida broke life.

I may only have $2.47, but a small iced coffee is only $2.39.

10. Should I check the depth of my soul or my pockets?

If only I could pay in Monopoly money.

11. "What, like it's hard?"

College is hard when you have approximately zero notes.

12. I don't even know what I'm having for dinner.

Or breakfast. Or lunch.

13. $100 for nine letters, sure.

How much does a kidney go for nowadays?

14. I go to the library but I don't do anything there.

Worst part is there are 58 slides

15. Every exam ever.

Unless your professor doesn't *gasp* curve.

Just about every situation can be captured perfectly by this new trend. I may have laughed too hard at most of these, but first of all, it is college and these few years are some of the best years of your life.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
