Synchronized Skating.
The only team sport under U.S Figure Skating. The only type of skating not in the Olympics, yet. And the sport many of us have dedicated our lives and passions to, to become a lifestyle.
THE SYNCHRO DIARIES ARE HERE!
Hello Synchro community and to those unaware of this ice sport,
Danielle Anderson, 22, and Michael Edzant, 21, San Diego natives and Team del Sol alumnae have created a lifestyle resource for the synchronized skating community. Thats right, synchro is going viral and Michael and Danielle have created the synchro diaries youtube channel to connect, share and promote synchronized skating athletes all around the globe.
While their channel provides the lasted inside synchro scoop, their website has everything from getting to know Danielle and Michael and their history to informing rookies on the basics to understanding U.S Figure Skatings scoring system and all that synchro entails.
In addition to their fabulous Youtube channel that portrays their spunky personalities, this duo has also provided a website/blog with topics that any skater can relate too and along with a Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter to keep you updated when you're in the mood for a synchro vibe, thats not coming from exhausting practices or skate moms.
From being teammates with both of them for many years and witnessing Danielle's sassy attitude and fierce drive to always become better, is something I've admired from her since day one.
To Michaels, sense of humor and enthusiasm to help not only him but others to further this sport,I knew that these skaters were perfect for the spirit of synchro.
It's no longer comes down to me complaining about Michael and how I was stuck next to him in the line on our pre-juv team and if he could even really get the hand hold right, or watching Danielle work her way up from Alternate to thriving Captain on an international Senior team, and eventually all skating together for the love of our country on behalf of Team USA on foreign ice ....
but now it's everyones time to enjoy and share the love of the performance, and all that it takes to be an athlete.
The Synchro Diaries are a must, as synchro and the love for the sport instantly becomes more appreciated. Check them out on social media!
