My (Unedited) Reaction On Election Night

A candid, impromptu video from election night this past Tuesday.

Unedited and impromptu, I shot this video in my dorm room the night of the election as votes were being tallied and Donald Trump's potential for becoming the Presidential-Elect grew. Scared, disappointed, and heartbroken are the best words to describe the expressions you see here. I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve and leaving my vulnerable self out in the internetsphere for you.

I hope that this video may help you. I hope that this video may stir you. I hope that this video may shake you out of your state of mind and make you take a peek into how this election affects not only myself, but members of every and all other marginalized groups threatened by Trump's words and actions during his political campaign.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.
