The Most Treasured Wealth In This World Is My Mother

My mother serves as the mitochondrial force behind unleashing all the positive vibes and stupendous amounts of energy and dedication within me. Biologically, I would cease to exist in human form without her but apart from that, she is the spellbinding power that is highly responsible for my rise and growth as a human being along with being a lifelong student. Ever since I was born, my parents have had extremely high expectations for me and have always been supportive regarding my career plans and aspirations.

But since it is Mother's Day, I'm going to dedicate this article to my selfless, gorgeous, exceptional, and beloved Mother. Words are too short to describe her and the insurmountable depths of compassion and affection she bestows upon me holds no bounds! She is indeed a woman of substance who always makes it her utmost priority to simplify the myriad complexities experienced in everyday life. She also possesses the extraordinary qualities that are required to revive the most precious moments of life.

Honestly, I cannot imagine my life without her as she is my heartbeat.

My equation with my mother transcends holistic boundaries and resembles the theory of “two hearts and one life." We are bonded together via heartstrings that are strong and rope-like just like the intermediate filaments surrounding the cytoskeleton. In other words, she is my BFF and she is my most treasured wealth in this world!

Furthermore, she is a woman who will not eat unless I have eaten and I constantly strive to persuade her not to starve because of me. However, my incessant attempts never succeed to bear fruit. She is a woman who will forgo her sleeping routine and adopt ulterior patterns of sleep just to match mine. My endearing mother is the epitome of a virtuous and sacrificial deity who I consistently worship everyday and beyond.

A women's whose happiness solely lies within her children's happiness and wellbeing is the most magnificent boon in the world of Mother Nature. A nature's delight, a child's most pivotal companion, and the world's most precious gift... that is what my mother means to me!

Hence, Mother's Day is more than just an annual celebration! It is a day that should always resonate in the hearts and minds of children every day because the immeasurable amount of solace granted by our mothers should never be taken for granted! Whenever I'm having a not-so-happening or gloomy day, I find the immense amount of peace by just being under her shadow and listening to her words of wisdom.

I'm proud to say that I have learned a lot from my mother who is constantly teaching me more about the profound ways of the world, how to differentiate between “good" and “evil," and most importantly how to carve an individualized niche in the world by expressing myself and my passions on a broader scope. Thus, she is the driving force behind my dreams and ambitions and my continuous desire is to always make her proud of me! She is indeed a "Wonder Women" who is one in a million and a rare gem which is difficult to find!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
