Goooooooooood Morning Michigan State! IT'S GAME DAY

"Oh! He has trouble with the snap! And the ball is free! It's picked up by Michigan State's Jalen Watts-Jackson and he scooores! On the last play of the gaaaaame!" That's the exact energy that will be in the Spartan Stadium this weekend in honor of the rivalry between the top two schools in the state of Michigan. Everyone will be watching this game, well everyone except for me, of course.

I'm kidding, of course I will be at the game. But my soul will not. I already know that I will try to be bundled up in my long, warm North Face Parka baring the cold weather while the University of Michigan loses to the best school in the nation, once again. This game weekend will be the biggest game weekend in the 2018 Football season, everyone I know is coming up for the game. This game weekend, especially, will be the biggest for me because this time last year I was watching the game from my house and this time I will actually be in the place where it all goes down.

Spartan Stadium. Home of the Michigan State University Football team. With players like Darrell Stewart Jr, Mike Panasiuk, and Matt Coghlin. We can't lose to U of M. I know the past couple of games we could have played better but it's okay, we can't let past defeats ruin the future and what lies ahead. Which includes beating Michigan and crushing their ego.

With game day, comes game day tailgates. And our tailgate this weekend will be the best I've ever experienced, well minus the CMU tailagate which had like 5 fraternities and sororities there from both schools. This weekend will be sort of the same but I'm super excited because the frat that it's at is within walking distance for me and I don't have to spend money on getting an Uber which seems to be my only purchase these days. I don't even buy food anymore, I just bring everything from home. And even though my parents are paying for my food either way, I'd still love to be able to purchase my own food and not have to drag everything I bought into my house the day I come back to school after a relaxing weekend at home. But don't get me wrong, I love that my mom is nice enough to buy me everything that I want/need, it's just more adult to go out and buy everything I want for myself with my friends. Especially because sometimes I forget what I need and my grocery list happens to be at home in East Lansing and not with me, 70 miles away in Rochester.

Back on the top of tailgates, I genuinely cannot wait for this weekend's tailgate because I wil be sporting my newest purchase of green and white overalls that everyone and their mothers have. I have wanted these since the minute I saw them and this weekend is my time to take the leap and go for it. Especially since my friends always tell me, things don't happen unless you make them happen. I mean they me that when to comes talking to boys, which is something I lack but I can take that same advice and apply it to this situation can't I?

Happy Game Day Michigan State.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
