There are four weeks left of this semester and there is still so much to do! School is wrapping up with the last essays and the last exams but finals are lurking behind the corner just three weeks away. End of the year activities for organizations are starting to pile up, home football games completely take up your weekends, and basketball is starting up making these last four weeks seem just a constant roller coaster with no time to breath, but just remember you are not the only one and you will get through it.
November is the month where most students really start to think about their grades and GPAs and how to make them higher. Long nights are spent in the library writing that ten page paper or reading trying to catch up with the rest of the class or constantly turning over flash cards to get ready for the next exam. Remember that your friends are going through the same thing and even though you might be in different classes, you could always study together so you won’t be freaking out alone and this way study breaks can be spent with friends.
In these last weeks, most organizations are trying to get all the requirements, socials, and activities wrapped up for the semester so there is a lot going on and a million things to do. You may think that this would get in the way of your school work, but really it is that much needed break to be with your friends doing something you love and is fun. You joined these organizations to have that break from school work and in these last few weeks you will need it most.
Football in the fall semester tends to take up most weekends. When most people use the weekends to relax you spend it cheering on your favorite team especially if they are undefeated (GO POKES!). This is a much needed distraction and yelling and cheering on your team will definitely release some of that stress. This is a much better way to spend your weekend rather than sitting in your room stressing out about school. And now basketball is starting up, so if football is not your thing go to a basketball game.
Yes, it seems like these next four weeks will be pull-your-hair-out stressful, but just remember that your friends are here to help you and with everything going on on campus, there is always something to do for a study break.
