Loving yourself for the way you are is the most important thing.
Loving yourself is an amazing feeling and I wish it was easy for everybody to do. People deserve to know that there will always be somebody out in this world that loves you for you. Somebody is always going to look at you like the beautiful piece of art you are.
People to deserve to be able to look in a mirror and still love themselves for the perfections and the flaws. We deserve to be able to embrace what god has blessed us with. We shouldn't have to rely on the opposite sex or just another person in general to tell us that we are beautiful and for us to believe it.
I want to be able to walk up to a girl and be like, "Wow, you're so pretty" and she responds with "I know, thank you," and it not be seen as conceited. I want to be able to walk up to a guy and be like "You are really good at basketball" and he be like "Thanks, I know" and it not be seen as cocky and rude.
The world is so stereotypical and it is really sad because people deserve more than to be labeled. No person should ever have to wonder if they are enough or if they are pretty enough for this world. That little boy should not be looked at different by his classmates just because he is black, but has a white mom. And that little girl should not be made fun of because she would rather wear jeans and boots rather than a dress and pigtails. Everybody is different and come from different backgrounds, and that is what makes this world so unique. It is not something that should define you.
Your character is what should define you, it is what truly matters. She should be a "pretty girl" because of the way she talks so passionately about the sport she loves, not because of her thigh gap. He should be an "amazing guy" because of his love for his mother, not because of his nice body.
Love yourself for the way your eyes sparkle when you achieve one of your goals, not for your "perfect curves".
