In the crazy lives we all live, it's so simple to get caught up in the thought of tomorrow. It's easy to stress over what happened yesterday. It's habit to run into the cycle of overthinking about the things we cannot change in the past or future. It's time to start living for now. Today is in our hands.
You have control over this moment. So, what will you do? Will you waste your time worrying about why you failed an assignment yesterday? Will you fall into a pit of worry thinking about if your plans will work out for tomorrow? I have one word for you: Don't.
Live for Now.
Right now, you are living. You are drawing the picture of your life, in pen. This meaning, mistakes you make, you must work with because they can't be erased. You can't create for the future, only now.
You will only be this exact age once. You will only live this day once. Make the most of it. If you want to eat that extra piece of chocolate cake, do it. If you want to text a long lost friend, do it. If you want to buy that shirt, do it. If you want to go for a run, do it.
Relax.
God has his plan and everything will work out. All you have to do is live. Take your decisions one at a time. Live one day at a time. Walk one step at a time.
Make mistakes you can learn from. Make memories to remember. Meet people to never forget. Learn things to help you grow.
Hold your pen confidently and keep drawing the picture that is your life. Have no regrets.
Live unapologetically.
