Reasons Why Thanksgving Break Is The Best
Kaylee Loofbourrow

Many times when it comes to school, we find ourselves with a personal countdown to when break begins. 144 days. 128 days. 64 days. 32 days. 10, 5, 2. Break! Having multiple throughout the school year, how can we say which is the best? Well, Thanksgiving (or for some fall break) might possibly be the contender to take the title for the following reasons.

1. We get a break from school.

2. Which reduces stress.

3. By letting us go/stay home.

4. Where we will be able to see family and friends.

5. And possibly have a little extra “me time.”

6. As Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

7. Where we will have food for days.

8. Especially on Black Friday.

9. It might or might not snow.

10. But then it’s time to go back to school…

11. For only about a week or two…

12. Just to get a break once more.

13. To celebrate another holiday or so.

14. And then we have to go back to school again.

15. But it’s alright for it means we are getting closer for the school year to end.

Recently, an article on Total Sorority Move called 23 Things My Boyfriend Better Not Get Me For Christmas, was going around on social media. I hope the author of this was kidding or using digital sarcasm, but I am still repulsed and shocked by the lack of appreciation throughout this article. I would like to represent the girlfriends out there who disagree with her standpoint -- the girlfriends who would be more than happy to receive any of these gifts from their boyfriends.
