Ever wonder why you yawn? Or why you feel the need to sneeze when you stare at the sun? These are the most random thoughts that run through our heads, but no one really knows the answers to.

1. Why do we yawn?

The most common reason for yawning is tiredness, but that isn't always the case. The reason we yawn is because our lungs need more air, which brings more oxygen intro our bloodstream and helps move carbon dioxide out.

2. Why do we sneeze when we stare at the sun?

This is known as autosomal dominant compulsive helio-ophthalmic outbursts of sneezing syndrome; which is reflexive sneezing induced by light. Moving from a dim light to a well lit area or sunlight triggers this reflex.

3. What does the "K" stand for in K-Mart?

The "K" in K-Mart stands for the store's original founder, Sebastian Spering Kresge.

4. Why can't we tickle ourselves?

One of the reasons we can't tickle ourselves is because our brain is trained to respond by a person's movement. When we tickle ourselves, our brain anticipates the movement and prepares for the action by taking away the feeling of panic.

5. Can we cry underwater?

It is possible to cry underwater, but if you do you will most likely die. We inhale a lot of air when we cry, so instead of inhaling air, we would swallow water.

6. How is Styrofoam shipped?

When Styrofoam is shipped, it's surrounded by other Styrofoam that you haven't ordered.

7. If the president of the United States were gay, would his husband be called "The First Man?"

After some thorough research and debate, his husband would be called "The First Gentleman."

8. When you lose weight, where does it go?

When fat is lost, 84 percent of it is exhaled as carbon dioxide and the other 16 percent is excreted as water.

9. What is the speed of dark?

Most of you have heard that light travels at the fastest speed of an object. When light is gone, we are surrounded by darkness, so darkness travels at the same rate as light.

10. What if someone died in the living room?

Well, then -- contrary to belief, it wouldn't be much of a living room, would it?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
