Dear You,
You matter. You have value. God put you on this Earth to do incredible and groundbreaking things, don't ever forget that. God handcrafted you into the special little gem of a person that you are, so don't let that big ol' brain that he gave you convince that you are not spectacular all by yourself. You were fearfully and wonderfully made, and God doesn't make mistakes.
You are human. You are flawed and you make more mistakes than you can count on a daily basis, and that's fine. You've always thought that the best way to learn was to fail a few times and learn from your mistakes, and you're starting to thing God think so too. So maybe that's why it seems like you can't do those simple things like eat like an adult or brush your teeth without spilling toothpaste on your shirt, or why it feels like you spend to much time overthinking or completely dissecting a moment that only lasted a few seconds. God has so much in store for you, but you've got a lot of learning to do first.
There will be people who say that you're ordinary. They'll say that you're fine, that you're just good enough. Those people are wrong. You are anything but ordinary. You are better than good enough and excel at more things than just being nice and fleeking your eyebrows on the daily. You are smart. Those weirds things that continue to float around in your brain each day are ideas, so stop being afraid to share them. You can never smile to much. So even on your worst days, don't forget to smile, you parents got you braces for a reason.
You're value does not come from anyone but God. You are a good person regardless of whether you always look you're best or always say the right things at the right time. You are human and you are flawed. But who you are is so much more than the person you present yourself to others as. You are so much more than you realize. You are big smiles, big hair, and even bigger dreams. You laugh because you know that laughter only happens when there is so much joy in your body that you can no longer contain it, so why not share that joy with others. You are loud, because you demand to be heard. You love everyone because you understand how important it is that they know that they are special, and so are you. You are one of a kind, so stop wasting your time trying to be someone else. You matter. You have value. You are here for a reason and the things that you say, whatever they are, are important and deserve to be heard; don't you ever forget that.
