To My Ex-Best Friend,
You use to be the ying to my yang, the SpongeBob to my Patrick, the best of all the best to my friend.
Six years is a long time to be with someone on a daily basis. You were my designated maid of honor, Godmother of my nonexistent children, and if I were to die at a young age you were next in line to dibs on my wardrobe.
We had some darn good times and I wouldn't take any of it back for one second. We grew up together, from 5th grade to 12th grade, that takes you through the struggles of puberty, boys, drama, and whatever else could go wrong during high school (aka everything).
But as they say, all good things come to an end. It won't be the same not having you at my wedding, or teaching my kids that you are their aunt but it's for the best. We live, we learn, we grow and sometimes growing means growing apart. I will always want whats best for you and hope you achieve all of your dreams.
XO,
Your Ex-Best Friend
