First off, thank you. Never have I felt more at home on campus then I have in our house. There's nothing like coming home to 52 of your best friends. At first I thought that was a cheesy thing sorority girls said, but the longer I've been in the sorority, the more I see it is true. I have a go to person to get dinner with. A friend I go to in crisis. The friend I go to when I want to have fun. My study buddy. My foodie friend. It's so interesting that a little over a year ago none of you were in my life, because now I can't picture my life without you.
You have given me a moral compass to live by with our purpose. The more I grow as a college woman the more the lines of the purpose resonate with me. I love seeing you all living the purpose. There is so many people in our chapter that I look up to.
Thanks for pairing my with my amazing big. Essentially you gave me my best friend for a lifetime. I don't know what I would do without her daily texts. She's my go to person from everything from rants to laughs. She's such an inspiration to me.
Also, how could I not thank you for pairing me with my little. Never has someone lit up my life so much. Every time we see each other we run up to each other screaming. To an outsider we probably look nuts, but to each other there's no other way to greet one another. I love our mushy social media presence.
It's amazing to see a girl walking down the streets of New York City wearing our letters and know we have an instant connection. I love being part of such an incredible national organization. We do such great work. Wherever I go I know my affiliation with this organization will serve me well. There will always be alumni chapters I can be apart of regardless of where I end up.
Thank you all for believing in me when I did not even believe in myself. You lift me up during my low points and you celebrate my highs. I've learned so much from all of you.
You are my role models, my friends, and my sisters. I am eternally grateful for all of you.
