Dear Future Little,

Here are few things you need to know if you're going to be my one and only all four years.

1. I’ll be your number one fan.

You run track? I’ll try to make it to as many meets as possible. You do photography? I will make note in my planner to attend the art show to see your beautiful work. You want to run for Student Congress? You can bet that I will be the first signature advocating for you. I am so excited to see you grow and dive into your interests at college.

2. I’ll help you adjust to college life.

Although I am still learning to be the best version of myself as a student personally, I will do anything I can to help you excel. I know that freshman year can be scary and I am ready to listen to anything that you want to talk about. I will offer you advice on the classes you should take or the ones you should avoid at all costs. Even though I am pretty much in the same shoes you are, we can struggle together and figure it all out along the way.

3. I’ll be down to hang out anytime.

If you want to go out, I will gladly get ready and walk with you to your fraternity house of choice. If you want to stay in, I will have your favorite snack and movie ready to go. We can Pinterest all night together and laugh when our crafts don’t turn out the way the Pinterest versions look. We can study and drink Starbucks… or end up talking about life while drinking Starbucks. But hey, it’s the thought the counts right? Anytime, anywhere, or anything would be fun as long as I am with you.

4. I’ll always have your back.

If you suffer a heartbreak, I will be your shoulder to cry on. Then after your mourning period, I will tell you to put some lipstick on and pull yourself together. You are worth so much more than boys who make you cry. You are worth the whole world. Simply stay away from drama and be above it. Have fun and surround yourself with positive people and life will be awesome. I will always be here to lift you up when you are down.

5. I’ll be the best possible role model for you.

We have not even met yet, but I can’t wait to share so many experiences with you. I can’t wait to see your face on big-little reveal. I promise to give you all the cutest hand-me-down T-shirts your heart could ever desire. I will make all of your crafts with love. I can’t wait to have you in my life. I think you will help me grow so much as a person and I hope I can be someone you can look up to. Congrats on picking the best sisterhood any girl could ask for. Welcome to the bonds, (future) little one.
