To my favorite pals, froomies, and snuggle buddies,
Now that we have survived one semester of senior year, I am gonna be honest and say I don't think that I will be able to pull that off a second time. The night before school started, it hit me like a wrecking ball that this is it; this is our final semester of being lazy, crazy, and semi-selfish (OK, more than semi). In just five short months, we will be packing up our apartment and trying to make plans to meet during the summer, but before we do that we have some unfinished business.
First off, that bucket list is only half complete. So get ready to brunch, play with puppies, and kiss a stranger, because we have a lot left to do. No more making excuses and no more staying in on a Friday night. I pledge (lol sorry for my corniness) to not make excuses about why I shouldn't go out. I really don't need those eight hours of sleep every single night (but most nights, yes) and Netflix will be there every other night. Let's try and go to as many parties as we can because, let's be honest, in six months we will actually have to pay for our alcohol and that's no fun.
Second, there will be tears. The emotions are gonna be strong this semester and now I have reached a point where I am just gonna let it happen. It's our last first day of classes? Tears. It's our last date function? More tears. Taking senior pics on the quad? Sobbing. So as preparation, let's have a roomie bonding of buying plenty of tissues and waterproof mascara (and wine, cause why not?).
Lastly, lets just live by the motto Y.O.S.O (yes, I made up my own motto). This will be "You Only Senior (year) Once." Let's take chances and be a little crazy. This is the last time when we will all be living together and not having major responsibilities yet. Let's have weeks filled with Trivia nights, Wine nights, The Bachelor nights (ily Ben H) and so much more. I motion for more apartment dinners together and spending more time with each other during the week. Motion accepted? Perfect.
You are my favorite cuddle buddies, gossip girls, and workout partners. You keep me sane and make me laugh when I feel like crying. Can't wait to take on this final semester with you. Thank you for being you.
ily a milly,
The girl at the end of the hall
