I think we all have that one person, who when we are asked who inspires us the most their name just naturally pops into our mind. Theres a saying that says "everyone you meet, you meet for a reason" and well I know that the most inspirational person I have met proves that to be true. I couldn't imagine my life without them in it. Whether our goal in life is to simply be happy, have a family and a career, or just traveling the world, we all have one person who never doubted us and showed us that anything in this life is possible. I guess what I am trying to say is that my most inspirational person really opened up my eyes to something more than I could ever see. There were three universal lessons that were learned:

There is good in every situation

In our world today, we hear and see so much negativity. Maybe thats why I was drawn to someone who always sees the glass half full instead of half empty.

There is always an opportunity to love and forgive

Inspiration comes if you are willing to be open to it. I guess the same rule applies to love and forgiveness, it can only occur if you let it. It is so easy to view the world as a pessimist but every moment that you spend upset is a moment of happiness you will never get back.

Let your faith be bigger than your fear

The fear of the unknown can be scary at times but as long as you believe, anything is possible. The hardest step to take in this life is the first step; wheher its the first step towards your dream or the first step in a new direction, it can always turned out to be better than you ever imagined but you have to be willing to take it.

Thank you for be such an amazing role model and guiding me down the path of being a better person. I strive to be able to live life with the attitudes that you do. I hope one day someone will look up to me the way that I look up to you.
