We all have crazy schedules. From class to work, form work to extra curriculars, and extra curricular activities to studying and homework, sometimes the only availability in or schedules for eating dinner, doesn't happen until late in our night. Here are the best places to keep your stomach full and your mood happy, in East Lansing.

1. Insomnia Cookies

This one is pretty simple and obvious. The holy grail of late night sweets. Warm gooey cookies, and if you're feeling crazy, ice cream in the middle? Yes, please.

2. Late night

If you live on or close to campus, the dining options at late night are full of comfort food items that are a necessity for college kids. Mac and cheese, pizza, sandwiches, and tacos, amongst other things, are the best for those nights when your nights are full of studying and you need something quick and easy.

3. Buffalo Wild Wings

Who doesn't love some midnight wings? Bdubs stays open until 2 am, and serves all your favorite snacks foods, and has TVs galore. The perfect heavenly combo.

4. Conrad’s Grill

Burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and fried food galore, all while open until 3 am. The delivery and pickup options make it easy to get a quick fix late, when you really just want some Mac and cheese bites.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
