Have you ever wondered how much money a celebrity spends on their makeup artist? What about how much they spend on their own personal makeup? For example, Kim Kardashian West, a model, actress, entrepreneur, and socialite with a net worth of $140 million. When her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, is off-duty, this A-lister revealed that she uses $770 worth of makeup products each day. If your jaw dropped at that incredibly high amount, you’re not alone. That amount is a large chunk of my college tuition, but to her, it's just pocket money. If you’re as curious about what makeup Kim spends this much money on as I was, I don't blame you. Below is her daily routine, followed by my daily routine, which is (somewhat) equivalent to hers, but on a college budget.

1. Face

Kim starts off by wiping any excess makeup off with Neutrogena Make Up Remover cleansing towelettes. At only $6.49, these wipes are highly rated and still affordable to those (me) who are living on a college budget.

Kim uses La Mer's perfecting treatment (a whopping $240) as a base before applying foundation to her face. An alternative to spending the same amount of money on a face-perfecting treatment as you would on a textbook, Lancome's La Base Oil Free Primer accomplishes the same purpose at a more reasonable price of $42.

Kim uses either a Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer foundation priced at $62 or a Chanel foundation priced at $60. I personally stay away from liquid foundations since my skin is prone to becoming very oily. A highly rated drugstore liquid foundation is Revlon's ColorStay foundation for dry/oily skin that also contains SPF of 15. With a price of only $12.99, you can't beat a makeup product that kills two birds with one stone!

2. Eyes

As somewhat of a makeup guru, I feel quite proud of myself that Kim and I use the same LORAC Pro eyeshadow palette. Priced at $44, this palette has both matte and shimmer neutral shades that are versatile for any occasion. At first I was a little leery to spend that much money on an eyeshadow palette, but it has been my best and most long-lasting purchase yet! For those who are the smarter shoppers that don't give into peer pressure like I do, alternatives include $3.49 single ULTA eyeshadow shades, Eye Enhancers 4 Kit Shadows palette by Covergirl for $5.99, or any other drugstore eyeshadow palette that catches your eye.

Kim is known for her perfect cat-eye wings. For these, she uses Mac LiquidLast Liner in black. With a reasonable price of $21, you too can attempt to achieve her mesmerizing eyeliner wings. But it's also hard to beat e.l.f.'s equivalent, e.l.f. Expert Liquid Liner, at only $2.

For those in love with Kim's wispy eyelashes, Kevyn Aucoin has the perfect mascara for the look. Kim admits that most of the time she uses false lashes, however, on the rare occasions that she doesn't, her lashes still remain beautiful. My lashes are my focus area when doing my own makeup and I have cycled through multiple different brands, brush types, etc. to find the perfect match. My go-to eyelash look involves double-layering both Urban Decay's Perversion mascara ($22) and L'OREAL's Telescopic drugstore mascara ($9.99).

3. Eyebrows

As eyebrows are becoming more of a statement in the makeup industry, Anastasia's Brow Wiz Pencils and Gel are taking over. The pencil, $21, and the gel, $18, are currently ranked number one in terms of the length of wear and coverage. I have yet to try either, as I'm still trying to make my L'OREAL brow pencil worth the $7.99 I paid for it.

4. Lips

In my opinion, the Kardashian-Jenner family is iconic for their structured, usually perfectly-lined lips. Kim shows loyalty to her half-sister, Kylie Jenner, by using Kylie's recently-famous lip kit, priced at $29. Kim's favorite shade is Candy K, but of course she owns every shade. As a fan of makeup, I feel somewhat obliged to try a lip kit out, but I just haven't found the courage to pull the trigger and click "Check out." Instead, I find solace in Nar's lip liner for $24 and any drugstore matte lipstick.

5. Contour

I hope you'll agree that Kim's contour routine deserves its own section. Her contour is always "on fleek" and she has Anastasia's Beverly Hills Contour Kit to thank for that ($40). In all honesty, I use the Sephora brand single eye shadow collection in M-530 Eggshell and M-636 ($5 each). I learned this simple hack from a worker at Sephora and my bank account will forever have her to thank.

Last, but certainly not least, Kim uses the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow (listed at $68) to finish up her defined, contoured face. I would love to hear if any extreme makeup gurus out there have tried this bronze and glow, and enjoyed it. For my bronzer, I use e.l.f. Sunkissed Glow Bronzer from the drugstore for $2.00.

I am sure that each and every one of us would absolutely love to trade places with Kim for the day just to have the opportunity to play dress up with her makeup collection. However, most of us are living on a college budget and can barely afford toothpaste or cough drops. Kim's $770 makeup value has its benefits, but my makeup net worth is not even an eighth of that and I'm doing just fine (but in all reality, I'd would be doing more than "just fine" with her $68 bronze and glow and $240 moisturizer).

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
