1. Never living up to your pumpkin carving expectations.

2. Getting pissed when your parents try making you use an old costume.

3. Dragging your parents to the Halloween store.

4. Making them sit and wait while you try on at least 10 costumes, and they're like...

5. Begging your parents to not cheap out and buy the shitty candy.

6. Watching all the Halloween Disney movies until you're sick of them (but let's be honest you never really get sick of them).

7. Waiting weeks to finally be able to put on your costume.

8. Secretly being scared of those house decorations, but needing the candy.

9. Reluctantly accepting that stupid bag of pretzels that people think it’s okay to give out.

10. But gladly accepting those King Size candy bars.

11. Trading candy with your siblings and friends.

12. Eating too much sugar and nearly vomiting

.

13. Counting and separating your candy at the end of the night.

14. Having to wait for your parents to check if the candy is safe before you eat it.

15. And lastly, that feeling of pure satisfaction you get at the end of the night.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
