Being female is no walk in the park. There is absolutely nothing easy about being a woman. Like I don't even know how to explain the awkwardness we have to deal with. Everything from making sure our hair is looking nice to not knowing if you'll be forever alone because we're so awkward and we all from some reason act like a man. And the more you think about it, the more you find yourself saying "I am Jess" because of Jess from "New Girl"... Let's face it; we're all Jess. So here are a few struggles of being a woman as told by Jess from "New Girl." Brace yourselves

1. That time of the month is honestly the worst and life just sucks.

2. And Cramps. Cramps suck and this is a basic response for when people ask how you're feeling.

3. Giving yourself daily pep talks so that you can feel better about yourself

4. When you see a hot guy and you have to make it as discrete as possible that he's insanely hot

5. Then realizing hot guy has a girlfriend who is actually flawless

6. When you don't know what to do with your emotions so you vent to the nearest human being/local bartender

7. When you really just need to process your feelings and emotions and your friends just don't understand

8. When you try to give life advice to your friends that you should honestly listen to yourself

9. When you watch the season finale of "Grey's Anatomy" and another beloved character drops dead

10. When you have to shave your legs and you really don't want to

11. When you create the best puns that only you think are funny

12. When you are actually going on a date with that one amazing guy and your friends ask what your next move is

13. When you really hate someone but you're trying not to make it noticeable

14. Being the only single one surrounded by couples and improvising to fit in

15. When people say you don't take life seriously enough

16. When your period is late and the overwhelming anxiety that you might possibly be pregnant is all too real

17. When something happens to someone around you and you have to do your best not to be awkward yet you still end up being awkward anyways and doing something like this

18. Telling a story to your friends but no one is listening so you're just there existing like

19. When someone gives you a compliment but you don't know how to respond to it

20. When you're dating someone and they have yet to get approval from your friends

21. When you're out with your friends and you order wine

22. When someone asks you what you do when you're alone

23. When you just wanna ask Mother Nature

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
