“It’s over!” He screams
“What happened, why the sudden change?” She asks
Everything has been going so well, confusion sets in
She sits in a chair
Deciphering what just happened
Shocked inside
She tries to figure out what went wrong
But he replies “it’s me, not you”
“We can get through whatever is going on, just talk to me, please! I love you!”
It is hard for him to believe
Being cheated on and lied to by every other girl he has ever went out with
She tells him to believe her, she is not like the other girls
He says “I’m sorry, and I will try to believe you.”
Relieved because she knows he is worth it
And was scared because she loves him to death
She believes with all her heart he could be the one
She can tell in his eyes he deeply cares for her
His love is all she needs, all he needs too
She tries to show him he doesn’t have to worry
That the past is done, and she is his
With each other they can conquer anything
She knows it will take time for the past to heal
And she tries to encourage him she will stay faithful
And she has no doubt in her mind he will be too
She was hurt before, cheated on, just like him
But in her mind it doesn’t matter because she has him
He has her too
A relationship takes two people to make it work
Talking things over, the good and the bad
It will work out and she has no doubt
As long as there is love, love will shine through
And take away the hurt and sadness
She wants what is best for him
She tells him “You are amazing”
And “Being cheated on is nothing to worry about with me.”
“I love you for who you are and that will never change.”
It will take time to heal what the past had done
But for now she reassures him
Nothing is going to happen
She is there through thick and thin
Together they can get through anything
Together they make two helping each other along the way
The light of love will shine
And help them make it through the day
