A snowflake. As the girl who was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and has never seen snow until she moved away to a liberal arts college in the North– I always considered a snowflake, just a snowflake. It falls from the sky when it gets cold outside. The frozen water that makes it hard to drive in. But our good ole' friend Tomi Lahren simply had to give the term a new meaning– a "liberal" name may I say.

She has resorted from calling us uneducated and lazy to simply labeling us as snowflakes.

In her most recent three minute segment on 'The Blaze', in which she yells at you and tells you how much better she is than you because she "works hard, loves football and can scream MAGA in three seconds flat" she explained her coined term.

If you aren't sure whether or not you qualify as a snowflake, here's some of things that make you one:

"If 'Trump 2016' sidewalk chalk causes you emotional distress before or after the election, you might be a snowflake."

"If you graduated with a degree in philosophy or women's studies and then complain about how you cant find a job, you might be a snowflake."

"If a man opening a door for you somehow offends you, you might be a snowflake."

"If border security sounds racist to you, you might be a snowflake."

"If you think taxpayers should pay for your abortions and not doing so is somehow limiting your lady rights, you might be a snowflake."

"If Donald Trump's tweets offend you more than the four American's we lost in Benghazi, classified information shared on a private server, Saudi bought influence at the state department or paid violence at Trump rallies, you might be a snowflake."

Well, well, well, Tomi that pretty much clears it up for me! Thanks!

Heres some of the reasons you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican:

Saying Trump 2016 is saying you support a man who is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a terrible business man, and a jerk for office and you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

If you demean the choice of someone that has decided to go to college to help people, to become therapists or care for women and their rights, you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

If you think that men are systematically above women in almost any situation which in turn gives them the right to ALWAYS open doors, pay for checks, walk on the car side of the sidewalk, or give you their jacket and DON'T realize that by being a strong independent woman you can do all of these things without the assistance of a male, you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

If you think Mexicans are rapists and in turn want to build a wall so they cannot have the access and rights to a free and fair American that you are privileged to live in, you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

If you think that planned parenthood only gives abortions, that by taxpayers funding PP is only talking about abortions and not giving a women access to her own body. That saying a women doesn't have a right to choose when to have an abortion, or access to birth control to simply be able to enjoy the act of sex, or to help with hormones or to regulate their period, you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

And finally, if you think that emails on a private server are more destructive than what Trump has said about women, elected officials, Mexicans, African Americans, our current President, his children, liberals, war hero's, or any of the above, you may be a far right, out of touch, misinformed republican.

Tomi Lahren has once again proved that unless you are a rich white male, or white in general, you're not allowed to have an opinion or place in society. So snowflakes (because that's what you are if you voted for Hillary) believe everyone should have equal rights, think abortions are a woman's choice, realize that Donald Trump is a terrible man, is still upset about the election, believes feminism exists, thinks immigrants are allowed or support Obama.

So, Tomi, call me what you want but I'm proud to be a snowflake.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
