Self defense keychain would be on your bucket list if you are living in an uneasy area. It is always better to be equipped with a safety tool when you are going out alone. Especially when you are in a deserted neighborhood with not a lot of movement at times.

What a self-defense keychain does for you is that it is an instrument that can allow you to maneuver your attacker. The surprise element which comes with a self-defense keychain can catch even the trained robber off guard.

Robbers generally don't have enough time on their hands. When you can use a self-defense keychain properly. The robber is most likely going to run away as explained earlier. Their action time is only a few minutes because they are afraid of getting caught.

We are going to teach you the five key steps which you need to follow to effectively tackle an attacker with a safety keychain. So, sit tight as we are going to share the complete steps with you below:

1. Always keep the self-defense keychain nearby. It should not be in your back pocket on in your car. It is preferable to keep the key chain in your jacket or long coat if you are wearing one. Other than this you can keep the keychain in your front pocket.

2. Hold the keychain in your fist with the self-defense keychain facing outwards towards the attacker. While attacking the robber, you should always go for the areas where striking is most effective. To neutralize your attacker look for areas like the eyes, throat, or groin. Preferably the nuts or the groin area is the most effective way of neutralizing the robber.

3. Work with quick, short strikes. The idea here is to go with short and repeated strikes so that your robber is unable to react. Never give your attacker even a second to rest and recover. Whilst you are hitting the robber with these swift quick strikes look for help from nearby. It is only possible to be completely safe by finding help from nearby.

4. The self-defense keychain also shouldn't be your only weapon. You should look for other ways of getting help in the meantime. So, when you are striking the robber and he is not striking back. Try yelling so that people around you can see that you are in danger. In the meantime, you can also run away from the attacker while he is recovering from the strikes.

5. Make sure, to never leave the self-defense keychain behind while you are finding help or running away. Leaving the self-defense keychain which is a weapon behind is dangerous as the robber can chase you back with that weapon.

All in all, your goal here is to be safe and sound and not to cause the other person any harm. Try your best to distract the attacker with the self-defense keychain. In this way, you will be able to run away effectively from the scene for good. Moreover, it is also advisable to yell for help as you will gain the attention of nearby people who might come to help you rescue the attacker.
