You never know how hard something can be if you do not try or take a risk. If you do not try, you will never know your full capacity, strengths and weaknesses. You will never know how good or helpful something can be, if you do not take a risk. I never thought that i could be so stressed out, when I do not time myself. When someone does not know how to manage his or her time, things can be so messed up. Time management has been a great factor in my success in college so far. Sometimes things can get so messed up and you can even make somebody overwhelmed.
In high school, I was very organized; I had a specific time for everything. I had a time to do my homework, go to practice, study and hang out with my friends. I was a model for all my friends, I was so calm and all my work was done on time; I did not have any issues to anything after my priorities. In college, I am just getting the hang off my time management. It seems to be something very helpful to me; but sometimes I am so stress that I forget all about my plan or my schedule for the day or the week. Time management seemed to be the key in this case; but how do I stick to it? I have no idea. I try to stick to my own way of doing it, it is not working. With all the classes, clubs and soon sports; I barely know how to handle all of this and it is only my freshman year. Things can be very stressful when someone does not have some kind of guide or schedule that helps them with their work. I am still organized, the only difference is that things are very different. It is not like high school and time changes too. The only way that i find to not be stress out is to do my work ahead and keep everything where they are suppose to be. That is not the kind of time management that i am used to but i will try it out because it seems to help me with my work. Sick or not there are still work that has to be done and time is not a good friend if someone does not manage his or her time.
This week has been a good example of me taking risks so I can get to where I wanted. I try to get everything done on time, and I almost missed one but I remembered my goal. I knew that I had to keep going even when things are rough and stress are killing me. Exams week are the worst and the most stressful; sometimes if you do not pay close attention things might go wrong. Even if you do not need the time management, do it so you can get use to it because one day you will need it. Even though you try to start getting use to it now, it will be hard for you if you were not use to it. Things will pilled up, time management will be a life saver at a time given and you will be surprise of how successful you can get when you manage your time.
