Horror movies: While some of us love them, most absolutely hate them. In college, every person experiences at least one horrifying moment, or if you're anything like me, multiple horrifying moments. No, we don't get haunted by ghosts or get chased by a crazy maniac with a chainsaw (or at least, I hope not), but these experiences may be just as equally horrifying.
1. "The Double Tap"
It's 2 a.m. and you have gotten deep into some cute guy's Instagram, and you like that picture of him at his junior year homecoming dance from 174 weeks ago.
2. "The Unknown"
You stare at the first question of your exam and have no idea what it's talking about. Same for the next question... and the next question.
3. "The Forgotten"
It's Sunday night, and you check your Moodle only to find five new assignments due by the next morning.
4. "Not Close Enough"
Being .4 away from the grade you need, and the professor refuses to round you.
5. "Running From the Enemy"
Trying to escape from the guy who won't leave you alone when you're out.
6. "The Encounter"
Going home for any sort of break and not being able to go into public without running into at least one person you know and always having to answer the same types of questions. For the last time, Sheryl, I do not have a boyfriend yet.
7. "It's Too Late Now"
When you take a test in Himes Hall and push the submit button. Needed a 92 percent and got a 79 percent. Perfection.
8. "The Message Never Received"
Showing up to your 8 a.m. and realizing you missed the email about class being canceled.
9. "The Empty Pit"
Checking your bank account. Ah, perfect: $3.
10. "Lost Connection"
Netflix stops working right before the end of the nail-biting season finale you're watching. Now you have no reason to procrastinate on that paper you should be writing.
11. "Constriction"
When you try on a pair of pants that used to fit perfectly and now, you can hardly button them.
12. "Left Behind"
You become separated from your #squad during a night out, and no one will answer their phones.
13. "The Final Moment"
Finals week. Those two words put together will send chills down any student's spine.
