Seven Halloween Costumes For The Basic Party Girl In All of Us

With Halloween on the horizon it is time for us all to channel our inner basic party girl. We are all in search of the costume that has the perfect balance of witty/fun and flirty/fabulous. But, with midterms and ess(netlix)ays it is hard to find time to really sit down and brainstorm.

So, I’m here to present you with seven Halloween costumes that are sure to be a hit.

1.Netflix and Chill

Here is the perfect costume for all of you avid “Netflix and Chillers” out there. If you have a friend then grab oversized red and white shirts and slap some labels on there and you are good to go. If you are a friendless loner there is an option for that as well.



2. Sharknado

Remember that time when you wasted two hours of your life watching one of the most horrible movies to be created? Well, lets honor those two hours with a fun Halloween costume. Fun, flirty and fabulous.

3.) Mixtape (Straight fire)

Who doesn’t love an excuse to not wear pants? Buy an oversized white t-shirt and glue on “Mixtape” and some genuine flame clip art images from PowerPoint. Watch out aspiring rapper that I graduated High School with because my Halloween costume is about to be lit.

4. French Girl

Bonjour! Oh la la! This outfit is not only functional, but also purposeful! Who doesn’t like a late night snack as your party-hop from one fraternity to the next? This costume gives you the excuse to carry around a loaf of French bread, which is honestly everyone’s dream.

5. Pink Emoji Girl

Too lazy to buy anything for Halloween? Grab that old t-shirt from the back of your closet and you're ready to a night of tricks and treats.

6. Gold Digger

Remember in high school when you thought it was cool to wear tight sparkly dresses to homecoming? Well call your mom and have her overnight that thing. "I ain't saying she a gold digger but she ain't messin' with no broke-broke-broke."


7. Moon Emoji

‘Nuff said.
