To my favorite guys,
I want to start out by saying that you have no idea how much you guys mean to me and how much you've all taught me. I honestly could not be more grateful to have guys that I can confide in the way I can with you. You all bring so much happiness into my life and have watched out for me, sometimes in more ways than my own brother has. I have come to the realization that I was given such amazing guy friends and friends in general because you treat me better than any boyfriend ever could.
Thank you for making me laugh on the days that I don't feel like laughing at all. Each one of you have your own way of making me smile and taking my mind off of the negative things that may go wrong in my life.
Thank you for not treating me differently when a girl comes into your lives and for picking the right girls that don't get jealous of you hanging out with a girl and for making sure I am being treated right by guys.
Speaking of not being treated differently, thank you for only treating me like a girl when necessary, like if you occasionally pay for my food or let me cry over stupid things. Not that you guys are disrespectful because that is not true at all, but I am grateful I am treated like one of the guys when I'm around you all and that no topic is too "gross" to talk about.
Thank you for not getting mad at me when I'm stubborn and when I'm mad at you. We have all pissed each other off at one point or another and for some reason no matter how mad I can get, I can never hold a grudge with you guys.
Thank you for letting me become a part of your families. There's nothing I enjoy more than knowing that I'm so welcomed into your parents' homes and that they love me almost as much as you. Due to years of talking to them, not only do they all feel like second parents to me, but they have taught me how to actually talk to a guy's parents without being all anxious.
Thank you for showing me what I want in a guy. This is one of the important ones. I appreciate our group of friends and how respectful you guys are to not only me, but to other girls as well. I have watched each of you mature and have seen how you've treated girls you were dating and it truly amazes me. Your parents did an amazing job at raising you to be the gentlemen you are today. I promise myself and you guys that I will never marry a man that doesn't make me laugh, and treat me with the respect I receive from you guys.
Never in my life did I imagine that I would be blessed with such an amazing group of guys who act better than most girls ever could. My mom always made it a point to tell me that girls and boys can be strictly friends, which made it easy to believe boys did not have 'cooties.' Guys have always been more easy-going and happy to me and I couldn't be happier to have you in my life.
Love,
Princess Diana
